I don't recall seeing anyone mention this, but the Totten Pond Rd
bridge over I95 in Waltham has been completed.

They're still working on the on and off ramps, though.

The ornamental street lighting on this bridge is over the
top, obviously designed when the Commonwealth's fiscal condition was
better.

Thanks for posting this.

It's been, what, 13 years since it was hit by the truck?

Will the Rte 12 bridge over Rte 2 in Leominster take longer? Also hit
by a truck (and missing a girder).

Longer: I know it happened before the fall of 1995 as commuted in
that area from 1987 to 1995. I'm guessing it happened in 1993 or
1994.

If I recall correctly, it was summer of '84. Messed up the afternoon commute
big time. I was covering a 2nd shift at Polaroid on Winter Street at the
time. It occurred after I got to work at 3:00PM and traffic had eased by
the time I left at 11:00PM. Lucky me.
The new bridge may reach the end of it's service life before it reaches
completion.
