1- Libraries -- close them all. Currently a shelter for the homeless.

2- Parks -- same as above.

3- War on Drugs -- make it legal. Save on prisons as well.

4- Allow Euthanasia. Most humane way to save money.

5- Cut 30% of check to seniors who drive a car. That's a luxury.
Promote bikes and trikes.

6- Cut 30% of salaries to every bureaucrat out there. Politicians can
afford 50% when they do a bad job.

7- Cut 30% of military expenditure. Let the private industry --Big
Oil-- pay for it.

8- Bring doctors from Cuba. They are way cheaper.

But I'm sure you have some brilliant ideas of your own. My wisdom is
not infinite. ;)

So what will happen to multiculturalism? Never mind.

Open every project out there --road construction, bridge building-- to
criticism and scrutiny. Don't let them dump the money in projects that
means juicy contracts but have questionable benefits.

Libraries and parks are nice, but they are the responsibility of local communities, not the
federal government.
The Federal Government channels money to the local government so they
can put pressure on bloated corrupt bureaucracies. They are still
wasting money around here. They are building a nice cultural center in
a community that's falling apart, where you don't have space to ride a
bike. They have security guards in a mixed path where people don't
need it. The path itself must have cost millions and it only goes for
a mile.

3- War on Drugs -- make it legal. Save on prisons as well.
Tell it to Chairman Obama, who not only reneged on his promise to not interfere with state
medical marijuana programs, but has intensified the federal war on drugs. Stoners still think
they heard him promise to legalize weed if elected, showing how THC can cloud one's judgment.
Do the Republicans have a Plan B? No, nobody messes with legalization
though nobody knows why it's illegal in the first place.

4- Allow Euthanasia. Most humane way to save money.
As a member of the Church of Euthanasia, I believe suicide should be encouraged to reduce the
population. However, legalized euthanasia is likely to be abused, with those whose medical care
is costing too much being "encouraged" to kill themselves. "Suicide" is derived from root words
meaning "killing of oneself"; euthanasia is not suicide, since someone else is doing the
killing, and determining whether the subject freely consented or was pressured is impossible.
So...? The way the system works now, old people are artificially kept
alive so they can keep milking Medicare.

8- Bring doctors from Cuba. They are way cheaper.
That's because they are slaves. Though well-trained, Cuban doctors are prohibited from leaving
Cuba without permission, and when they travel abroad it is usually to places like Venezuela,
which trades oil for their services. The doctors are kept under guard, to discourage them from
attempting to defect.
That's true. But the effect of such threat is to let the AMA lose
much of its power on profits.
