"Transpass" sticker on T bus

Today I noticed a new sticker on the windshield of an MBTA bus. It
said "Transpass", and might have had an antenna circuit in it.

Anyone know what it's for? (I googled, but only found stuff related
to SEPTA monthly passes and the defunct Maine Turnpike e-toll system.)

I'm guessing the T uses them to log when buses enter and leave the
garage.
