I don't need to tell you that our roads are the worst place to be. I'd
imagine Hell to be a place for cyclists that must endure endless
traffic along honking horns, noise, rage and insults.

Hey, you don't need to be. You can find a beach somewhere and ride
your beach cruiser for hours on end with nothing but the shining sun
or stars and exchange smiles with friendly riders. I'm not promoting
flirting but that can happen too.

Notice that moving SLOWLY on a beach cruiser gives you the right
balance of COMFORT and RELAXATION. A beautiful unique cruiser is a
must. Only a good philosophy of life, the opposite of "life is a
bitch," can be created under under those idyllic conditions. Yes,
LIFE'S A BEACH, or at least it's in your hands to make it happen.
AVOID HELL AT ALL COSTS!

This occurred to me while riding a bike and doing many, many loops
around the park.

"Brothers and sisters from South Beach. We may be separated by some
deadly roads and grinding sidewalks from 71 ST to 41 ST, but we don't
hate you or envy you. We have our own beautiful parks and trails, just
that we can't share the whole place from one end to the other. The
same thing once separated the East and West Germans, but they are now
one people. They are prosperous too! Just don't let visible or
invisible barriers put you down. Actually, right next to the Alton Rd
bridge, there's a light pole blocking the sidewalk thus making it
impossible to ride a bike or even walk. Worry not, someday we will be
connected."

"I thought of it while riding my bicycle", is reputedly what Albert
Einstein said about his Special Theory of Relativity.
